Dubai is one of the most popular places in the world among tourists from different parts of the world. According to a recent survey conducted on tourists, it was found that the city is the seventh most visited country in the world. Now, if you are planning to visit Dubai, you should be aware of the best destinations in Dubai. Here is the list of five top destinations to visit in Dubai.
1. Burj Khalifa
Dubai is the sparkliest, tallest, deepest city and the city of Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, is a major Dubai landmark. Check out the building’s history exhibit, then take the world’s fastest elevator. Hold on tight, because it only takes a few seconds. If it’s to be avoided for those with a weak heart, it’s still a great thing to do and the view will blow your mind. If you are a photography enthusiast, you can even grab a tripod and take pictures of the beach and the city. Book the tickets online in advance and go at sunset, my favourite time because you can see both day and night from above. A must on your trip.
2. Dubai Mall
According to the total area, the Dubai Mall is considered the largest mall in the world. It is the part of Burj Khalifa complex and includes around a thousand and two hundred stores in it. It also includes a giant aquarium complex, which is considered the largest suspended aquarium in the whole world. The mall attracts thousands of visitors daily and its shopping experience is very unique.
3. Burj Al Arab
The Burj is “the only 7-star hotel in the world” and, whether you agree or not, it is certainly one of the city’s iconic buildings, impossible to take a trip to Dubai without admiring it.
With its height of 321 meters, the Burj was designed to resemble a lifting sail. There are several places to take photos, but one of the best is the public beach right next door. From there, you will take the best photo of yourself, on the beach with the Burj in the background. It is one of the most photographed structures in the world, the Burj has regularly been voted the most luxurious hotel in the world, it is a major place of interest if you are sightseeing.
4. Jumeirah Beach Residence Promenade and Dubai Marina
Built-in the last few years, Dubai Marina has its spectacular skyscrapers and right next to it is the Jumeirah Beach Residence promenade. The Marina and JBR is a city within a city with stunning architecture, lovely cafes and bars, great for people watching and finding luxurious hotels and some of the best restaurants in town.
During the day on your trip to Dubai, the views are just as stunning as they are in the evening, and many people jog around the marina for the same reason. Behind the Address Hotel, you can catch the Ferry, which is great for visitors and locals alike as it takes you out to sea and passes the famous Atlantis Hotel on the man-made Palm Jumeirah. The ferry takes you along the coast and drops you off just inside the creek at Bur Dubai, where you can enjoy ‘old’ Dubai after seeing the ‘new’ Dubai.
5. Desert Safari
Your trip to Dubai will be incomplete if you miss the Dubai desert safari. On the deserts, you will feel driven by the enthralling Arabian desert sand dunes and after that, you can also enjoy a great barbecue dinner. A desert safari is an opportunity to taste the past existence of the Bedouins and to visit Dubai in a different way.
